Competition Robot
Designed, calculated, and manufactured a competition robot's drivetrain, selecting motor count and gear ratio from torque-speed analysis.
Highlights
- Graphed torque-speed curves across motor counts and gear ratios to select a 1:2 gear ratio for max power and torque
- Prototyped the gear train in cardboard before machining the final aluminum drivetrain
